SECTION A- PM-01-PS01 Prepare a workstation, in accordance with sanitation and sterilisation procedures before, during and after a manual skincare treatment The learner must be able to answer questions to demonstrate applied knowledge. Your Supervisor/facilitator/mentor will assess you on the following questions: Applied Knowledge • AK0101 Safety and hygienic practices to be followed and adhered to throughout the manual skincare treatment • AK0102 Products to be used for a manual skincare treatment • AK0103 Sterilization and sanitation products • AK0104 Sterilization procedure for all skincare treatment equipment • AK0105 Sanitization procedure of the client and therapist Internal Assessment Criteria (IAC) for the Practical Skill Activity • IAC0101 The equipment is wiped clean in accordance with sanitisation procedures • IAC0102 The equipment to be used for a treatment is organised appropriately • IAC0103 Products are adequate • IAC0104 The treatment area is prepared in accordance with organisational practices
